Well i didn't quite get around to working on the website, but rest assured i was not wasting time. Today i worked on trying to compile Gaim myself because i am trying to be able to install Gaim plugins, and soon (i hope) i will learn c++, enabling me to develop Gaim myself and already having experience compiling it would be a good start. Anyway, i have everything setup but the build environments b/c i can't seem 2 figure out how 2 set the PATH so that the cygwin bash shell can use the mingw build tools to compile from the source. I have messaged a Gaim developer, but i will wait a few more days b4 messaging him again. I'm really a newb at this, and i really feel bad 4 the guy helpin out a n00b like me.

I've been on vacation since Friday morning so I have obviously been unable to work on or update my website. Today i'm bushwacked cuz i just got home, so i wont do nething cept update this weblog a bit 2 explain i've been away. Tomorrow I thinx i will work on it sumore after i get a good nights sleep :) .

Yesterday I installed a pre-configured web server Fireserv on my box. I got linked there after looking at the PHP Homepage and deciding to try and develop PHP locally, then find a free server that allows PHP. I then got linked to no-ip.com which offers some limited free domain names, and a program to allow for dynamic IP hosting. I think that i have everything setup to work right today to have runingfreak.no-ip.com setup to be hosted on my box, instead of my old site. This allows me much more freedom in that i have basically no limits to content, technologies, etc. The only limit is that the site only runs while my computer is online (which is basically anytime im not sleeping and sometimes when i am).

Well i havent yet decided exactly what the content/news ought 2 look like, i have a basic style down for each entry that is fairly nice.
